Re: drag truck progress
Digging this up for some more info on the front end, I've been thinking about the same setup for my truck. Was wondering if the stance remained the same, as it width wise and how much it lowered the truck, and if you could keep the 5x5 bolt pattern?
I know I could just call Fat Man, or check out there web site, but I also wanted to check on some more progress pics of djracer's truck, been following along and can't wait to see it finished.

Re: drag truck progress
My truck is not 5 on 5 anymore and I think the track width might be a little more narrow than stock. You can get it with or without drop spindles. I think jim meyer makes a similar setup that uses caprice stuff that is 5 on 5!
I went and checked on it tonight they are starting the aluminum work in the bed. I tried a set of hedders that I think will work. I checked my driveshaft and I think it will work also but it needs a different yoke. The one I have is for a turbo 400! I also am going to have to move some tabs and the tranny mount brackets! Kevin

Re: drag truck progress
Is it just me, or does a Dominator on top of a big block with a single plane make anyone else wet their skibbys?
DJ, I would almost be willing to drive to Bama just to see that bad boy make a few passes and hear it roar.

Re: drag truck progress
What's up big man?! Truck looks great! I finally got my bell and got the truck going, but I had to take the driveshaft out and have it balanced. Should have it back early next week. Maybe I'll drop by your house in it and give ya a peek. Later, Neil.

Re: Look what I got back yesterday!
I agree, that is one mean looking motor. You have to love them big blocks. Also like the Chevy logo on the covers.
