Woogeroo, Certifiably...
Porterbuilt, Sleep is optional. I have to maintain some level of sleep deprivation to prolong the insanity XXL, Thanks for posting the pics. Your PS skills put mine to shame! That's exactly what I've been invisioning. I think the fattys will look good when both sides are done. It does look more proportional narrowed in that pic, but they should look right when viewing both sides. I think they will be set apart at enough distance to make it work. Gotta get the other side done now! Cal 58 GMC, Thanks, I've never seen it doen either I better get this thing rollin' before I do!!! |

Thanks. We had a garage sale and now the garage is full of all the leftovers... I can't stand working around clutter. Should get rolling on it again this weekend.

Re: Updated Project Pics - '61 Vette Pick Up
Just wanted to drop by and let you guys know that this project is going to be on hold for a while. Not giving up on it. It kills me to have to do this. It'll be back in action hopefully sooner than later. By then someone else will have finished one just like it...

Re: Updated Project Pics - '61 Vette Pick Up
Just got moved... still "moving in," a never ending process... I have the burb in the garage for a little 476 transplant (454 + 0.100"). Yep, the 396 got a bunch of top end goodies (needed them) and broke a piston skirt. The good news is that all those bolt-ons will go right onto the 476. It's never just a swap though is it There's the "while I'm in here I should..." Once that's done I'll pull the '61 in there in start throwing sparks again. Should be in 01/07

Re: Updated Project Pics - '61 Vette Pick Up
Well, the 476 is done -> Link to 476 thread
But the '61 is delayed until April... Believe me, I'm more disappointed about it than anyone. This project will rise from the dead though. I have way too much work in it and a ton of ideas to go. |

Re: Updated Project Pics - '61 Vette Pick Up
Sorry to hear about your temp set back. But remember Rome wasn't built in a day.
I know my own project keeps getting set back too( time/money constraints, going back to college, etc) But Great things come to those who wait, and heck you might even come up with some great ideas that you wouldn't have seen or thought of otherwise! Still can't wait to see it done! |M|
