Re: 1970 Chevy C10 pickup

Since my pops was painting the Torino I couldn't work on my truck, so I washed my grandpa's 1968 Chevy C10 long bed.

Re: 1970 Chevy C10 pickup

Finally had some time to work on the truck this weekend. I got the back of the cab sanded and Pops got the driver side cab corner welded on. We also took out the back glass

Re: 1970 Chevy C10 pickup

Over the past two days, we've finished up some final touches on the back of the cab. Got the passenger side cab corner welded on and body work done on both sides. Also, we got the back of the cab and the front of the bed primed

Slow, Baseball has been taking up a lot of our time. We hope to get going back on it soon. He did get the firewall stripped a couple of weeks ago, just hadn't posted any pictures.

Been awhile since I've last posted. I have been busy with keeping my grades good and with high school baseball. Baseball just ended and school is almost out so I will be posting a lot more coming up.

Re: 1970 Chevy C10 pickup

Even though I haven't posted, I've been working some. I got the firewall stripped clean and I also stripped the dash. My Old Man did a little work himself. He cleaned up the heater box and painted it.

It's nice to see your progress, I like that your schooling takes priority. You're smarter than I was.

Looking good. Too bad that old Ford pickle is taking up so much of your work space. Clorox is good for mold and mildew. Not sure about Torinos.

Yeah, I hope the old pickle doesn't take root. Hopefully, it will be gone soon.
