Re: Putnam

Well my A/C quit cooling so the truck goes back to the shop tomorrow. If its something small I'll get it fixed, if not I'll be ordering a Vintage Air system. I've been busy getting my deck built and finishing up some things.

Nice work on the deck. I like those accent lights on the posts.

Looks good. I was reminded of the 'deck envy' skit Jeff Foxworthy did with the other blue collar comedians.

Thanks me too. I had to replace the control twice. They just wouldn't work right. Finally got a good one.

Re: Putnam

Well the A/C problem turned out to be the compressor. He swapped it under warranty so no money spent on that. It is working good now. It fogged up the windows pretty good on the way home. I had it full blast too.

Re: Putnam

I ordered a chest type tool box. I also bought some seam sealer for the bed. some of it is cracking up and missing. I may seal it and paint the bed but the weather hasn't been cooperating lately. It rains almost every evening except tonight. I hope its over.

Re: Putnam

I got the rails painted and the rattle can liner on it. I just wanted to seal the bed before winter hits as I'm not covering the bed. It might look a little splotchy in the pics but its still wet. I will do some touch ups all over the truck to get rid of all the chips and rust spots.

Re: Putnam

I finally got around to putting the toolbox in the bed. I put in some captured nuts in the floor and mounted it. I left some room between the front bed panel and box so I could keep it clean back there. I like to keep the drain holes clear.
