Does "urban" wheeling count?
Checking clearance on my new rock sliders. Top of the concrete block is 52" in case anybody cares. |

For those of you out there like me who might be finding yourselves a little tired of the summer heat (we're going on several days in a row over 100) here's a couple old shots to help you get through...

Reproduced my favorite ''poser" shot last weekend. Hopefully my buddies real action shots turned out.....wait and see. We were having a good time up until the transfer case shifter pivot bolt sheared off. Its always something.

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
I think Johnny's pics prove he's no poser, but I thought I'd vouch for him & let everyone know he's a wheeler & a hell-of-a-guy. I got to wheel with him once & want to get out there with him more, but need to get a clutch & new set of tires on the dd Thanks for making people want to come to Spokane, maybe a board meet is in order? & thanks again for keeping me posted on when you'll be out there - maybe me & a couple others can get out there with you soon!

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
Was feeling a little left out, so this is my lateset off road adventure. I'm actually working, no really, I'm working! I had to go up to a radio transmitter site & get it working. I didn't enjoy trying to get up there at all! Actually, I love my job & you fellas would probably not like me much if you knew some of the things we "had" to do to do our jobs. Toasted the clutch some more getting up there. Not sure how I made it home, but it's still holding.

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
Finally hit the park with some hard core guys from a local 4x4 shop. These guys don't mess around. Very impressive and actually a little discouraging to see what a smaller serious rig can do, compared to my tank, but still very cool.
Thanks to Joe and Luke from Central 4x4! Last edited by johnnywagon; 11-29-2007 at 02:24 PM. |

The Yota blew a burfield-joint and a tire bead in the rocks. Good times. |
