These are some pictures of my dads old truck it ran like 12 sec 1/4's had a caddilac 472? If any one was running around KC back in the 70's early 80's you may of seen it.

Hey guys, I thought I'd put some pics of mine in here. The pics of it with the snorkel hood are about 10 or so years old and it now has the cowl hood on it. I've had several motors in it and, right now, it has a pump gas 434 sbc in it.

OK, thanks. I'm not the most computer-friendly individual, so I figured that I did good just getting the pics on here.
As far as the low-mount alt. goes, yes, it fit without doing anything to the frame.
