Couple more. I gutted it out to see what I had to work with. Turns out it is pretty solid for a PA truck. Some spots need attention. I worked out a deal with a local shop to fix some rust areas on the inside. Trading a set of tires and wheels that I had for my '91. They are 35's on black steelies. I had $400 in them and the shop wants $600-$700 to do the work. He said we can "work something out" as far as a trade goes. I figure I'll have around $100 out of pocket in it.

The paint on the passenger side has the clear coming off from sitting so long. It must have been on the south side.

Thats a funny thing I bought my black 79' 2wd blazer from the original owner out of upstate NY back in Feb 08' and it had a NY inspection sticker from Nov. 99' when it arrived @ my house!

I used to have one, a silver '79 with a 250 six. I'll see if I can find a pic. Maybe someone might know where it is now.

Here's my 79' haven't done much in the past year just a couple small things like put some grille trim on that I found in the salvage yard and just picked up an OE tailgate band in the GM box off ebay, spring plans are to mount 22 & 20
gunmetal Coys in the corners and upgrade the brakes front and rear!

Thanks Classic, fronts are Cooper Cobra 245-60-15 rears are 275-60-15.

Very nice! Post some pics of the suspension setup in the suspension section if you get a chance.

Thank you I will as soon as I can get it back on the lift. He used alot of factory gm parts for the 4-link off a tahoe/suburban set up.
