I picked mine because all my friends gave me this nickname. (Probably because I put so much money into my truck!)

Chevy- because Chevys are the best

Pete- because my last name is Peterson

396- because I went through a phase where I thought 396ci big blocks were the best engines Chevy ever made, now I know better, the 305 was the best engine Chevy ever made or was it the 366ci big block :p …Chevy Pete.

68cajun, is it true that Houma is French for "mud" I have a cousin in Eunice and that is what he always said. BTW he is one of the last of his generation to speak both French and English. He is shop foreman of H Brown in Eunice.

I'm not sure if it means mud or not, i have heard that before. The parish that houma is in is called (Terrebone Parish) wich means the good earth.

Chevy pete I hope that is sarcastic!

I'd rather have a sister in a whore house than a brother with a 305.

You can argue a bunch of different engines were the best GM ever made but the 305 isn't one of them.

1971 Cheyenne, your avatar is exactly what I'm putting on my truck this spring!! I have a set of Cragars I have to get rechromed or powdercoated, and spinner caps to go on them, then I'm putting the BFG Radial T/As on them. Looks like I need to borrow that pic to try to Photoshop them onto a pic of my truck to see what it would look like. Thanks!

I was sitting at the computer a few years ago and had just gotten a new internet service. I wanted something unusual for an e-mail name. I saw something with the word "monitor" on it and I took the last part "nitor".

Last name Wells. HG was my nickname in the navy, partly because of the name, partly from my writing. I started a patrol journal (book for at sea) that became the Engineering Dept b1tch book. It was called HG's Notes.
