Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"

Gonna chop n patch. Don't want to pull the motor to do a full smoothing. Not to mention, I don't like to keep her down too long. I miss the pull and sound of that 383!

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"

Got the rust cut out... patch panel made and just need to clean up the lines and tack it in... still not sure how I am gonna attack the rust along the ledge. I may just clean it up, POR15 it then box off the top. Any ideas?

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"

when I was doing my firewall there was a lot of leaves in the crowl. I could not get them out. So when I was welding they caught fire and now no leaves. I let them burn. It could not hurt anything. The neighbors thought I set mt truck on fire. Anyway good luck my friend.

Yeah, I think that is the road ahead... Using 18ga for the hole I am working on now... Lil bit too thick to work with in my opinion... 16 sounds better. Bodywork isn't my thing but I am slowly learning. What I need is some friends in Hawaii with the same love of cars/trucks that can all help each other over some from frosty beverages. most people here are into tuners and imports....

There are a few here and there... Saw a daily driver 69/70 with a 80s style paint job the other day. Tried to spin around and catch him but traffic wasn't in my favor. Lol paradise = the 3rd worst traffic in the US. Btw, I am from Sarasota Fl... Moved here bout 15yrs ago and never left!
