Re: Another Blue Chevy
Thanks! The whole family loves it. This was a picture of the morning back in October when my oldest granddaughter got a ride to school while her baby sister was being brought into the world. She was not allowed in the delivery room or to wait at the hospital to greet her . Thanks to the corona virus . None of us were. So we kept her at our house and I gave her a ride to school instead .

We have had it home a little over a year now. Sure are enjoying it. These pictures are from November when the Wife and I were out taking pictures to put on our Christmas card

Re: Another Blue Chevy
The last couple of weekends I've dropped the fuel tank I installed last year to put the float in correctly ( 4 hour job on 3-7 ) I had the float on the wrong side of the sender.

Re: Another Blue Chevy
Made a little upgrade a couple of weekends ago. I used some Beetle kill pine to make some sideboards.

Re: Another Blue Chevy
Thanks Nate . We've been here 33 yrs next month.
Thanks Dale . The Wife said "now you need to just buy the new hubcaps", so I ordered them only to be told they're on back order.

Re: Another Blue Chevy
Hub caps would be nice. But in my opinion it still looks like a working truck while you're waiting. It looks great!

Re: Another Blue Chevy
My grandaughter suggested something across the back to keep things from falling out. I said " you mean a tailgate?" . So now I'm working on that.

Re: Another Blue Chevy
Got some hardware on the gate today . I also replaced the bushing in the steering column mount. The third picture is what was on the column for a bushing, some kind of butyl wrap that almost looked like electrical tape.

Re: Another Blue Chevy
This trunk was on a trailer at the same corner store as that really cool truck. I had to have it. It fits perfect. And its useful.

Re: Uh, Oh ~
No That is the advertisement SIGN for the antique store where we bought the trunk. It used to belong to a friend of mine that sold it to the store to use as a SIGN for their business.

Re: Another Blue Chevy
I have been adding turn signals to her this weekend. I bought a switch and some dual action 3/4" led lights . I made some dual light brackets for the rear and singles for the front. They will be park and turn signals once I get them wired up. The current tail lights are on with the headlights and act as my brake lights.
