Stock 80's Jeep Cherokee. They're a dime a dozen in the wrecking yards as that body style was made for mucho years.

Yes, but it's not quite what I need in the long run. It would work well with a longer front section, but the length I cut in still hits the trailing arms when dumped. I'm trying to con slammed67 into trying out his new welder on building up a back half. We'll see... I'm tapped out $$$ right now

Me and one of my daughters were coming home from seeing King Kong that night. Luckily she really likes riding in that truck, so we took it.

You beat me to it. Sorry about that. The ones I used are the SDHH7 Heavy Duty Hood / Trunk Hinge

I believe the SDHH5 might be sufficient, but these hoods are pretty heavy so we opted for the bigger units.

Front is 2.5", rear is 1.75", and the glass is raked back about 2" at the topmost point.

Ouch! Well... actually, they don't clean up very well. They spent 4 years in MA, and so the road grime/crud took their toll on them... they're just a polished wheel, which was bad for their life in MA, but means that with a LOT of elbow grease they should actually polish back out. I, however, don't have the patience/time to do that... so I'm going to try to find a home for them once I get another set of wheels lined up. Also, I'll be moving to 18's (these are 17's) and chrome... so I don't have the polishing issue again.

Several... but ultimately... Tim Devlin and crew at Devlin Custom on Douglas. While not ideal, I will say that dealing with Tim on this was by far the smoothest, most professional I've ever experienced in the world of body/custom shops. I'm still working out some misc 'issues' on the work that was done, but they are inevitable, and so the real test will be how they're worked out. As for Tim's communication (and sit down for this)... he actually called me on a regular basis to give me updates, ask questions about stuff we hadn't thought of before hand, sought clarification on stuff-- rather than just doing it one way only to find out that's not what I wanted, and even inviting me to come by any time to see his team work.

Waddaya mean? Green and blue coordinate together.

Actually, here's the math...

$20 per 7-11 store x 4 stores per week + 2-5 in prison for armed robbery +...

Well, I'm working on it. I'm out of money right now
