Here's my son's 72 Stepside.

I think the grille is not the correct one...maybe a year or two older than the truck

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

Here's my '68. Very soon it will be sitting on my '72 C-10's chassis (V8/auto/disc brakes/coil rear) so the ground up on the '68 frame can get underway. Once its ready with new LSX power, TKO-500 (or 600) tranny, tubular a-frames and all...the '68 body will get redone and finally married back to its "updated" '68 chassis.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

I don't have a real old GMC, mine is a '92 K-3500. I owned a '72 GMC 3/4 ton for about 15 years before I bought the '92.

My brother-in-law wrecked his '82 Blazer so I sold him my '72 GMC real cheap.

He is a picture of my '92. Picture quality is not the best, sorry.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

Here are some of my dad's 71. We just got done doing a frame off. He turned 70 Sept 2nd and said itis his first and last frame off. The truck only has 18k miles, but was never kept inside so the paint and rubber was shot. It is a "farm truck" not even a radio, and still has the farm truck rear bumper. 250 6 cyl, 3 OTT. He added the front chrome bumper and guards to protect the $600 grille. Anybody have a set of 71 poverty/ dog dish hubcaps for sale?
