Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks
Heres mine as well...Driver..69 c/10 .040 over now a 357 with flat top pistons,dual pattern hyd. cam .488 and .504 lift,rhodes lifters,angle plug iron heads, ,Th400 trans,roller rockers,pink rods,gapless second ring,10:44-1 compression,dominator II intake,Holley 660 carb,
last year I changed the trans and torque converter from 2800 stall to 3500 stall,28 inch tall tire to a 26, and slipping badley in drive as soon as I hit drive down the track it still ran 13.09 @101 mph my 60ft times went from 1.90 to 1.77 should be interesting to see what happens with a good trans i am guessing 12.60s to 12.70s.. Best et with other converter (2800 stall) and 28 in tall tire was 12.96 @103.73 in the 1/4 mi 8.19 @ 84.96 in the 1/8th.... Last edited by coolblue69chev; 01-14-2009 at 05:03 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.
I bought it at a swap meet, cost me $1/louver @120 louvers, $35 for labor and the hood was free because of a few dings and dents that I can easily fix. It was the guys display.

No, I wish it was. Just a truck I saw at the track. It won the Ford/Chevy shootout.
