Re: Cherubs 82 build

Didnt get much dont today, i try to take time for the fam on fridays. but i did manage to get the seats recovered before anyone woke up.

this is the LMC seat cover kit. The fit was ok and the installation a breeze even for a first timer like myself. The existing foam was still in good shape along with the springs. Watch out for those clips though i almost got one through my finger

Those look good! I like the 5 spokes but I really like the variations that are being offered. Those look good. (Was that too redundant?)

Re: Cherubs 82 build

How much Fatmat did it take to do the interior of your truck? Does it make a big difference?

Also, how does that wheel/tire combo work with your drop. I forget how much drop you have if I read it. Any rubbing issues with the fronts? Mind sharing your drop info again as well as what tire size you are running.

In that last picture your truck looks exactly like the chocolate brown c10 I had in high school. Brought back some pretty good memories. I was going to post up a pic but I didn't want to clutter your build thread.

Re: Cherubs 82 build

I used 2 rolls (100 sq.ft.) but have more than 3/4 left from the 2nd roll.

The wheel tire combo is 20X8.5 255/40/20 on the front and 20X10 295/45/20 yokahoma prada x. Im not happy with the tire combo i picked cause the rear profile is huge, the front doesnt match the back. im going to change to BFgoodrich KDWs 245/40/20 front and 295/40/20 rear.

Wheels have a 4.5 BS in the front and a 5.05 in the back.

The Drop is 3" drop spindle and 2.5 drop spring, belltech flipkit in the rear.

There are no side wall rubbing issues with regular driving and turning. But on long dips where the suspension is maxed out in both directions really quickly it will rub on the top.

Thanks the truck is actually a medium titanium metallic. So it has some brown tint in it.

Re: Cherubs 82 build

So would you probably recommend going with a wheel with another inch of BS in the front or is the rubbing a non-issue?

rubbing is a non issue, another inch of BS isnt going to hurt anything.

Re: Cherubs 82 build

I love those wheels. I need to sell my Coys with new tires and pick up a set like these or a set of Vintec's. Your truck looks really really good.
