35, I had a 70 when I was in high school that I regretted getting rid of, and had the replacement 69 for about 5 years now.

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

I'm 25. This is the 3rd 67-72 I've owned. Always wanted to do a full build and this is going to be the one. Last couple of vehicles include a 11 second turbo buick, 01' Z06, 2000 z28, 66 chevy II, several g-bodies, etc. My current driver is a 98' Gmc sonoma.

I'm 51 but on inauguration day I'll be 52. I was in Mid High School when my '70 was built. LOVE these trucks!

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

I'm in the over 70 group. (75). I drive a 70 stepside with 5 lug wheels, disc brakes, 350 Goodwrench engine, 700-4R trans. Best trucks ever built. I can still put engines in & bench press a manual trans. in place but i'm a lot slower then I used to be.

52 here. I've had my '72 1&1/2 yrs. Let a 69 short step get away from me back in '93. Another one of those "Man I wish I still had that" moments in life.

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

Every male member of my family has had one since about 1980 on. I was hooked at the age of 12, helped dad cut one up when I was 16 (chop top, tilt, longbed to short with extended cab, etc..), and finally baught mine about ten years ago. I'm 35 now and finally started tearing it down for the monster build over last weekend. Cab on dolly, bed on sawhorse, frame about to go outside for a while, yee haw!

No place for me to vote. Is this what discrimination feels like.

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

Well, ya know I could be in two categories. 20-30 or 30-40........ I'm 30. Had my 71 for about 9 or 10 years now. Also have a 69 parts truck. My 71 now has the 69 front clip and doors. Have a new baby so no time really to work on the poor thing. The 71's been sitting up on jacks for about a month now out front in the driveway.... I bet the neighbors love it. I love these trucks

Oh, should have been 20-29, 30-39, and so on.... just my thought. Never would have said it if I was 29 or 31 hahahahahahaha

Looks like 30-40 is in the lead

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

I'm 55.
I have a 68 Anniversary Special,59,000 miles.Got it by accident when a friend said"I know where another old truck is for sale, cheap"!
I thought it would be another junker!Boy,was I wrong!
I bought it from the deceased owners' son, who is not a car guy and needed the room.
It had the original tires still!
I have about 30 G.M. trucks from 63 to 95 and looking for more!Is that a diehard or what?
Mike.

Re: 67-72 truck lovers ages....

I'm 31, really wasn't into the 67-72 trucks, My choice was gunna be a 64-66 BUT, I did some trading for a near perfect 72 truck cab and chassis, and well to make the LOOOOOONG story short. I now have a 68 waiting for the spot in the garage to be built.
