I Hella dig the Suburban hopper, see'em draggin all the time but don't see'em hoppin.
Thoght I had some pics of mine here, but guess not. It's a 73 with a clip off a 86 on it now. It's gonna be under going a frame swap soon. I got anouther Suburban frame to hack up for stock floor body drop and to narrow up the front suspension. |

I actually liked it as a 73 too. What size rims and tires are those. and what lowering kit/components did you use?
post pics of the frame swap and body drop. |

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
The 73 front clip is where all the body rot was on this truck, so I swapped to a new clip. I also like the newer clips, but like my smog exempt 73 truck year. Those are 20" Coy's C5s with 255/35-20s. I don't like how small they look in the rear so I'll be getting some 22s for the rear when I bag it. I put 3" Belltech drop spindles up front & 2" drop shackles in the rear, the previous owner heated the coils & leaves to lower it some, so I don't know exactly how much it's lowered. I'll definitely take pictures & post them of the frame & body drop when I bag it.

In either config that has to be one of the trickest K5's on the planet. The burb roof graf is kick ass & looks VERY natural.
If I only had some money & time. thanks for the pix. Ratty 46 |

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
it looks so much better in the brown and green setup. And the fenders are very subtle but make a hell of a difference in the look of the truck. That thing is just plain sic.

That has got to be one of the best lookers in the country. I saw the spread they did on the shop in ST the other day. Nice cinderella story. Keep building them ...... when are we going to see a spread on the crew cab dually?
