Re: Good 70 SWB
Some updates and including pictures as I know everyone likes them. While I am working on my blocking and selecting a color for the truck. I decided to order a March pulley system to update my engine and my wiring harness (American Auto wire Classic Update). Below is before and after pics of engine and my progress on installing the March Mid mount pulleys. I will finish once I get a new Alternator and post update pictures.

Re: Good 70 SWB
Bought the rest of the 95 Impala SS parts and assembled the rear disk brakes. I do need to get some longer studs though as after putting on wheels I only have a few threads sticking out.

It's about time you got some paint on that thing.... If you had a good neighbor he would come over and help more often....

This weekend I got the CAB painted and then wheeled her outside for some sun. She has not been out of the shop in for a long time....

Re: Good 70 SWB
This weekend I applied 2 coats of Al's Liner HNR product to the Cab floor. I also have Al's liner bed liner product sprayed on bottom of Cab. I am hoping between the 2 I will see a significant reduction in road noise. i applied this via a roller and brush since I have already painted the cab and did not want to risk any over spray anywhere.

Re: Good 70 SWB
Thanks for telling me about this build thread. It was cool to see where you started way back in 2009. I am very jealous on how good your truck is coming together and mine is still ugly.
Hurry up and finish painting your doors so we can drop the engine and trans back in.

Re: Good 70 SWB
Just chumming in again. Those pictures do not give your paint job the justice it deserves. For all of the readers of this thread. Having seen this truck in person... This color is AWESOME!

I was glad to help out. Let me know when you need some extra hands again. Working in a nice shop with a concrete floor beats laying in the dirt of my half built barn to work on my truck.

Re: Good 70 SWB
I am installing the American Autowire kit. I have created a bracket and relocated the fuse panel underneath the Dash. I will be running engine harness and front lights etc out the side near fresh air vent and inside the inner fender. Pictures included....

Re: Good 70 SWB
Ok I have not updated this in a while but I have been working on the truck in between fishing. I have got my Condensor and dryer in for my vintage air system. headlights and wiring are complete.
Also relocating battery to rear under bed. Using battery drop box from Jegs mounted on frame rail. |

Re: Good 70 SWB
Doors, hood and front clip are all on and will look at getting front and rear glass in soon. Still have a lot of color sanding to do and need to complete the bed yet.
