I just used rustoleum STOP rust gloss black. I don't know if it is the right paint to use, but it will never see snow so?

Re: Project 1970 Step side C10
I haven't posted anything up in a while due to cold weather. I put the truck back together and getting it ready to be shipped out to the paint shop. I can't get my barn warm enough to paint it. Hopefully I will get it back soon.

Re: Project 1970 Step side C10
Well I have found a painter!!!! The truck has made the trip to his house for a couple days and then shipped back for me to do some more work. I thought it was ready but he didn't think so. So I am now sanding the inside of the cab more and I also changed the cab corners. I also did pretty cool trick with the tailgate. At least I think so. Let me know what ya think.

Re: Project 1970 Step side C10
Well I finally got the body work done and painted. The bad thing is that it cost 3 times the amount we agreed on at the begining. Just needs a little more wet sanding and polishing in a few places. Sorry the pics are crappy my phone doesn't take the best pictures anymore with all the clear coat on it.

Re: Project 1970 Step side C10
Your paint turned out great! Sorry to hear about the hike in price from your painter. I guess he ran into some problems? Triple price is no good for anyone. Looking forward to more pics.

I like the picure from the rear showing the wide tires and low stance not to mention the beautiful black paint on it now . You'll be grinning down the road in this truck.
