The exact brakes you are selling. Baer 6S, 6 piston, 15" brakes. But mine need to be for a C5/C6 Vette, because I am doing a Corvette frame and using C5/C6 spindles with 5x4.75 bolt pattern. Now, I know I could buy your brakes and change out the hats, but I don't have the money. When I say you brakes for sale I just about lost it because I need those. LOL!!

Don't feel bad bro. We are very similar. I'm 39 too with 20 year old twins. Then I'm starting all over with my son who is now 6 months old. So, we'll both be using walkers when our kids go to college.

That would be better than sex. But, the brick wall that's getting in the way is the money.

If these sit longer than a couple months with no buyers, theyll end up on my truck and that cant happen. The wife will kill me.

I cant wait to see this build finished

Yeah, my wife would kill me if I buy your brakes. Stay tuned...it's gonna be nice when I finish it. Updates will start soon. I have just about everything to finish this truck, except my frame being finished. You can see I have the motor and tranny in this thread. Lots of NOS stuff I haven't posted yet. Oh, and no brakes yet...dammit!!

Funny Rob, you should ask. I was in the garage yesterday looking at that beautiful, orange tailgate. It's still in the same box.

I know many may not believe this, but I have everything I need to put this truck together. Some very interesting parts. All I have to do is have the frame built. The frame C5/C6 suspension and also have an IRS. But, I know members are wondering what happened. So, I let you see why the truck was put on hold. Don't want to hurt any feelings or ruffle any feathers, but the truck was bought as a toy and a sincere admiration for this body style. I love the 67/68. But, my true passion is muscle cars. So, without further due, I have been building my 72 Chevelle SS. It is a very high dollar build, so you'll see by my parts that's it's really my passion. The engine will be an RHS block, LS7 supercharged 427 with a 3.6 Kenne Bell. I will jack my own thread for a second but, try and not waste peoples time, but here is the frame for my Chevelle with all C5/C6 suspension with IRS and Ridetech's triple adjustable coilovers. The same builder will build my C10 frame with Corvette suspension and IRS. Also, see the custom billet C5/C6 billet spindles on the Chevelle frame. My Chevelle has HRE's too. They are 20x9 and 20x13 HRE 791R's. But, I promise guys...the truck is next up and Ipromise you will be entertained.

Here are my HRE 948R's for the C10. When I get back on the truck, I will send these back to HRE and have a different finish done to them. I don't want the polished look anymore. The new finish will be titanium centers with brushed and tinted cleared hoops.

Re: Intoducing "Project...Oooh Weee!"

You may want to start saying "Corvette style IRS". I don't see anything in that IRS that came from GM

I was going to say the IRS was from the Roadster Shop, but a few of the parts look different. Where did you source it from or is it scratch built?

Looks great!

It's all aftermarket stuff, built off of Corvette geometry. Naw, the chassis was built by Street Rod Garage out of Alabama. Been in business for over 30 years. My IRS was the first one they've every built....#1. I'm running way behind schedule on the C10, but wait until you see the same IRS in it.

Re: Intoducing "Project...Oooh Weee!"

On your HRE948, what is the bolt pattern? I may have missed it in your build thread.

Are you going to run deep outer lips? I have a strong source to score the same wheels but with a different bolt pattern (5x114.3) with the brushed faces. Only downfall is that they have small lips so I'm trying to imagine how they will look with some huge 6 or 7" lips.

If I do purchase, I may need to run adapters

Yep, the rear wheel will have a 7" lip. The will be 22x12. My bolt pattern is 5x120. That 5x114.3 won't fit...that's a Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc bolt pattern. The other HRE's you see for my Chevelle are 20x13 rears with a 7 in outer lip. I see you're in H-Town. That's where I buy all my HRE's from at American Wheel and Tire off of Northwest Frwy.
