Thanks man, just waiting for some parts that my friends mom ordered me last night. Once I get them, it should be pretty simple to get them on. Had to put my dog down today. Had her for 14 years now, and she is finally in peace.

Didnt get much done today, still thinking alot about my girl. I really miss her. My buddy Grant is the only friend of mine that has ever seen me cry. He knew how much I loved my girl. My whole plan was to get the truck done so she could take the first ride with me. But now Im gonna build the truck in memory of her, considering she always hung out with me while working on my old truck. My cab corners did finally come in today though. I got one of them on. Ill get the other one tomorrow.

Didnt do anything to the truck today. Except push it back in the garage, woke up and it was pouring down rain. The whole truck got soaked, along with my shop radio. Truck is fine, radio is shot...

Just for you 76/85 Truck, heres the up-date. I got the driver side cab corner on, welded in and started on filler work. I also got the rocker panel welded in, fits nice and good with the door(Thanks agian GruntMoanCaugh), and I shaved the holes from the drip rails. I also cleaned up the hinges and primered them.

After I cut the old rocker panel off.



Welded the new one back in.

I also took my dash pad off.



Tomorrow Im gonna try to get the floor done, so then I can finish some filler work and primer the cab. Then I can start the re-assembly...

I just hope I dont cut my hand up tomorrow. That damn rocker panel had some sharp edges, I got several deep cuts on my hand now, some of which are still bleeding.

Nah, there nothing compared to what Ive had. Ive been sowed up many times, had to get staples once too. But I just took a nice shower and put some anti-infection stuff and some band-aids on them. Sorry, no pics though.

No progress today, got a kinda hold up right now. Yesterday when I was welding the rocker panel, I burned my eyes, mostly my left eye. Ive never felt pain like this before. So today, I went out and bought me a auto darkening welding helmet with adjustable lense. Hopefully it will prevent this from happening agian.

I wasnt staring but I did strike an arc on accident sometimes.
