Re: My 70 barn find build. TONS of pics
Hell no It never does. This truck was supposed to be gloss white right now, with a fully finished interior, and 20s, and you see how that went. haha. But the satin paint is totally doable, And worth it.

Re: My 70 barn find build. TONS of pics
thanks for the comments guys. Well, i have good news and bad news...
Good news, I recently got my exhaust redone. dual Flowmaster 40 series with single inlet/dual outlet with 2 tips run out each side. It looks mean and had a nice growl to it. bad news.. Notice i said "HAD a nice growl"? well, it no longer growls. I slung a rod in it last wednesday. total bummer. But, owell. ill just build it stronger. Theres a saying I heard before, Old chevys never die, they just get tougher! well, thats my plan now. make it tougher.

Re: My 70 barn find build. TONS of pics
Your truck is looking great! Sorry to hear about the engine! Find another SBC and keep it going. Then build your self a new engine so you can keep cruising the truck!

Re: My 70 barn find build. TONS of pics
Hey yall. Its been awhile, I just got caught up in alot of other things, and my truck sat for a couple months with a bad timing chain.
anyways, I built a new motor for the 70. 350 4 bolt main, flat tops, 2.02 valves, heads shaved, 1103 cam, double roller chain, edelbrock performer intake, topped with a summit 600 cfm double pump. Here's pics. Enjoy Posted via Mobile Device
