Re: Pics of our trucks - payload

These trucks can do some hauling...forever! Doggone,I had a huge load of Lumber in my '72 last week and no camera...10 6x6x8' p/t,24 2x6x12',12 2x10x12',16 2x8x12',8 80# bags of Sakrete,and a couple bags of carriage bolts/washers/nuts & joist hangers/nails.

I was shuffling some trailers & dollies this day:

Re: Pics of our trucks - payload

Damn!! OldIron, I thought I had a good load of wood. I gotta find me a 1 ton dually for hauling wood. That would save on trips, if I could bring 2 1/2 cords down at a time, that would save on time and fuel, two things I seem to be lacking lately.

Reminder. Keep away from the scale house. They (State Patrol) take a dim view of 4000 lbs over the 10,000 lb tonage tabs I have.

my cousins and I were having a bonfire, so we replied to a "free skids" ad on Craigslist.

I have another with my 69 step side loaded with a scrap cab, but its an actual photo, gotta get the scanner going one day.

Didn't have a picture before but we went and picked up some gravel to fill some potholes in the driveway again today. Heres a picture of the 71 weighing out on the scale at the gravel bank at 12200 lbs she goes 6100 empty normally.
