Re: Nacho Truck

I watched this truck on C/L for a while. Nice to see it is going to get fixed up! I believe the same guy has another one like it, also in TJ

Re: Nacho Truck

The good news is the wheels and tires are done and the driveshaft is ready to go in so I can line up the driveline.

Could you post up some details on the center cap install? I've seen them mounted with VW tabs screwed on to the rim. I was just curious if that is what you did, and if you have any measurements of where you put them. I've been thinking of doing this with a set of steelies, but I'm afraid to make the plunge and start drilling only to find I did it wrong or it's not centered.

Re: Nacho Truck

I had no idea those belly tanks were so big. The tires on that look like they are 3 feet tall and definitely taller than the car carriers tires. And the truck is absolutely cool.

Re: Nacho Truck

I love the look, but those tires are just "too" low profile for me...

Re: Nacho Truck

Just spray some rubberized undercoating on the wheel edges and call it a day.

Re: Nacho Truck

The color scheme on the engine looks great, and the old school valve covers set it off nicely. Great work Delmo

Where can I find a set of those valve covers? I can't find em
