Me too Keith, but I have to admit I didn't even notice it. Either way this thing is so nice.

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
Thanks Mike! I know the "correct bezels" are black, but with the a/m grille without the imprinted "chevrolet" in black, the black bezels just don't look good to me. Each to their own I guess.

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
Well I guess the price was about the same for a 2012 or a 1962!!
I wonder how much a 2013/1972 will run in September 0f '12 !!!

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
Thanks! I wish I could have gotten a little more, but this was the first one of many to come, so I needed to turn it pretty quick to get the ball rolling, or should I say the money flowing!!

It took me a bit of time, a little cussing, a little bleeding, but it came around in the end. Thanks for the kind words!!

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
Here are some pics of the progress. The bed has been a ton of work to get it straight. This has been by far the most time consuming part of the build, plus with doing a wood floor conversion, everything is in pieces. I don't think I'll do another wood floor any time soon...

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
Thank you all!! I can't wait to get it all done and move on to the 72. My wife and I worked on fitting and drilling the wood this weekend and got a couple coats of urethane on the wood. I will sand it and clear it a couple more times to make the wood nice and smooth...and hopefully I will get the gate and wheel tubs painted this week... Here are a few pics of the wood floor..
