it's really cool it will listen to the radio while waiting for a CB call
put my on/off switch in the lighter area

that serial number sure seems to cover all my years lmao

also put a pass side dome switch in
up is on,middle is off,down is with door pin
doing this in 40+ heat
and finished up in time for the power to go out
waitin on a storm ,first rain in weeks
I'm all ready for the end of the world in 2012 ,now with my AM/FM/CASS/CB/IPHONE lol

I've missed placed one of my rear covers from the burb
lucky the colour is close it will blend in
those are going where the ashtrays are now

I forgot I got a delay for the wipers
looks like plug and play...
cleaned it out...

had to recrack the dial but some glue should fix it

took the tank out
need a new tank ,sender,straps

had one "wet" spot on the tank and what i could see from the side it was time to get in there
and with my shock mount broke off ,glad i did
can't believe the grit and still bits road salt all over

after waiting to get the welder in,i chiseled the bottoms off the rivits
but could not push them out,but did drill through from the top later
got the shock mount fixed and back in
when i pushed the shock up the shock was siezed,hence the crack
picked up some new ones
the PO cut up into three and rivited the rear carpet strip,i found one from one of my burbs,trim to fit
hope it's all in today....my show is Monday

might be hard to tell from the pics but i bend the sender arm so i leave more gas in the tank on empty
for those late night runs where some gas stations close early
or i don't want to stop before i get home
and frozen gas lines parking on a hill
and no bouncing needle

decided to throw some white on the roof and wheels
gloss white tremclad it is.....
we are getting close to 0 now at night hope i can get a second coat...

then to work on the back radio speakers with the boss watchin
went with 4X10 ez to fit where the ashtrays were
the stock speakers seemed to work fine till now one won't work
hooked in a 4X6 for now

got the rear ones in before Labour Day
looks stock to me.....sound good too

Went to my 50th High School reuion Thanksgiving weekend
I did a car show on the front lawn...
