Well, I guess it is time to pick up where I left off. Like they say, when life throws you lemons…well, make lemonade!
It has been a long while since I last posted and even worst since I last rode my truck (as shown by the pics). I will say that I miss it a lot now though initially it took some steam out of my drive to fixing it even thought about selling after the wreck. I did not even want anything to do with it, but after a few months I calmed down and started to look at it to see how bad it was really going to be. I think it will be ok after a fender, radiator core support, bumper/bracket, a hood (maybe) and left light bezel/trim. Luckily found a donor truck with everything I needed, just some cleaning and now some painting. The only thing I can do now is start it and let it run since the front clip is all apart. My apologies to all who had asked me to build them a console or have been trying to reach me for a while. I have been extremely busy between work and fam I’ve hardly had time for anything else, plus not to mention the unbelievable bad winter we have had down here in Ga. However, things are looking much better specially weather so I have been concentrating on fixing my truck which I hope to be driving again this next month. With regards to the consoles, I’ll probably continue to build them and start back up in a little while. I will understand if some of you that had previously requested one are no longer interested, no pressure. Thanks to all for all the info you post day in day out which has been what has given me the confidence to do a DIY repair to include painting the parts. Will keep you posted on how it turns out. I'm sorry to hear about your wreck. Good thing is these trucks are easy to rebuild and parts are relatively inexpensive.

Looks and sounds to me like you could build consoles in a controlled environment and sell to fund replacement parts for your truck when the weather turns. Don't look a gift horse(money maker) in the mouth... LOL

I still want one but I settled for that cup holder that goes in the ash tray for now
