Re: 67CST rebuild down under
I've been a bit busy with other things the last few weeks but i have some time now to do a bit more to the truck . the axils rolled up i pressed on the cclip eliminator kit and screwed in the new studs . dummy fitted the disc brakes ,it all looks ok . got the front end back from the painters and started to put that back together to.

Re: 67CST rebuild down under
Hi the c clip eliminator kit does not increase the width of the diff but if you are using stock axles there is some machining to do . i cut the diff 2.1/4 '' each side and used custom length moser axles . when i ordered the axles i told moser i was using a cclip eliminator kit and they machined the axles to suit.

Re: 67CST rebuild down under
thanks for showing those instructions.
i've wondered how the kit works and as i have two 12-bolt diffs (pickup and oldsmobile) which both have wear in the c-clips and the axles move in and out over 1/2 inch will need something done about the problem. kits are $425 nz here for a "strange" one
