Re: Dash Pad- Covered With French Seam
Ive decided I wont do headliners shipped to me. Id like to be able to do and install them. So I would say find somewhere local for that.
Door panels depend on what year they off and what you want done. Im into the real custom stuff, but for now Ill do it all. From just simple wraps to fiberglassing and custom trim and speaker grilles. For work that gets shipped to me, they have to be stock panels, that way I know theyll fit your truck. I wont do panels from scratch off measurements or anything, Id have to have the truck to do that. But I can wrap or change up stock panels, depending on what you want to spend. Re: Dash Pad- Covered With French Seam
Do you have cores that you can use for the Dash pad and visors? Or do I have to send you some to have done?

Re: Dash Pad- Covered With French Seam
Ive been wanting to wrap a stock console for a while now. I saw one done a while ago and it looked really cool. If anyone wanted an alternative to a normal restored one I can do it in vinyl or leather. Doesnt have to be a perfect one to start with, it can be a console that needs restoring.
Also if you dont have a cupholder console, I can switch it out to one along with wrapping it. |

Re: Dash Pad- Covered With French Seam
Love your work. This is the first time I've even considered not doing just stock interior. How much for the whole set up? Just like LittleTony's except in that flat black vinyl that you started the thread with. And can you give me the cost of each section separately(dash pad, door panels, arm rests) because I may have to do one at a time. Thanks, and again, awesome work.

Re: Dash Pad- Covered With French Seam
Thanks. Did something a little different that what I usually see done with this style panels. Usually when I see guys have these done, whoever upholsters them uses sew foam and just sews pleats to match the design. Ends up being too pillowy looking, Im not really a fan of doing panels with sew foam.
Instead I used landau foam. Thats what I use on panels, dash pads, anything but seats. Cut the grooves out and then stitch on either side. Give it a more chiselled, clean look. They came out awesome! Still looking to do a console. If anyone has an old one that needs restoring and wants something different let me know. Id love to get some pictures of that up here. |
