Anyone know where to get the aftermarket carpet piece that trims the carpet along the top of the inside step. I saw a truck with one on it and really liked it and would like to find them.....it's some kind of hard plastic trim that rings the edge of the step and carpet...

Well I got all the parts for the bed at long last.....it wasn't pretty tey shipped a short box step side instead of the fleetside....Apparently if you need afleetside kit they have to be made the manfacturer doesn't stock them....anyway I got it and stained.....

It was the stainless strips that took so long to get....but it managed to work it's way into the truck....

Well the gas tank filler was a .....expierence....When e welded the filler tube section in place it moved from the heat and made things really difficult. But with some time and a good game plan we managed to get it finished and it really looks clean.

Drive shaft has been shortened and is in....Fuel lines are in...tranny lines are in....shifter is hooked up....brakes are bled....air system is pretty much buttoned up...battery wire set up is done......it's getting closer every day

swapped out the intake for the corvette intake....not a huge job went easy once i could find some itake bolts fr the intake. After looking everywhere after markey ARP and whamo.....

Oh and but the way the trailblazer intake bolts not even close.....and the injectors don't swap over either.....

Well....

Started opening up the harness and taking out what we don't need...For a old school guy like me this LS stuff sure has alot of wires. But hey it's sink or swim time so we dove right into it....

The main harness is on the engine....still have some change to make yet...One section of harness left to take apart but i am hopefull that we have it all figure out. I am nervous don't get me wrong but we are a couple of days working on it away from trying to fire it for the first time.....crosses my fingers.

Great build and lots of info did you use stainless to make the top radiator hose connector,on my project I had a stand alone harness made,the EFI is all new to me,keep up the good work.

Hey thanks...
It's the first kit I have ever used, usually I would start with rough oak and run and make it ll custom.....this way sure was faster but it comes with it's own issues.

Yea both the upper and lower rad hoses are stainless and custom fit. There is a small piece of rubber hose at each end that is basically heat shrinked onto finish it off. It was just too tight for a rubber rad hose.

I am trying........I am tryinggggggggggggggggg......This build has certainly not been the easiest. It's just a fight the entire way but am in the home stretch now.

looks great, have fun with the wiring. I'd def go with an expensive aftermarket harness. I was thinking of this route for a future project, def not looking forward to the wiring on it though, sensor this, sensor that. luv the truck though

Well i guess we will see....I should be turning the key soon...We found a guy who is going to tune the computer and set it up. Just waiting on him at this point
