Is it more effective than paint?? Might be something to look into for using up here at work.

This has nothing to do with your truck but what type of work do you do?

I'm a sales rep at LKQ auto parts of North Texas. I sell OE recycled (salvage) and Keystone aftermarket. We work hand in hand with ATK and ETE remans, and I can get most things aftermarket through our keystone division since we own goodmark now.

Sounds like you should get a lot of good deals on your truck build right?

You thinking of doing roll pans. I am still kinda on the fence, roll pan for rear or sport bumper...

I've thought about doing a roll pan but have decided to do a sports bumper. The roll pan would save me some money though.

I'm on the fence as well... I think I might just keep the step bumper, paint the whole truck Satin black, and do all the chrome (bumpers, trim, etc.) Gloss black.

Ah lol I was confused as well :p

It's running good, I've probably put around 300 miles on it. haven't worked on the truck much this week though, and no new parts will be coming up for a while, I missed some work putting the motor in so my paycheck suffered and rent/electric/water is due along with one of my surcharges. So I won't pick up anything new for at least 2 weeks :/

Any thoughts on the paint scheme I'd brought up earlier anybody?? Satin black, keep my step bumper, and paint everything chrome a Glossy black?

Man that sucks about missing out on your $$$$. On the other hand I think the idea of the satin black / gloss black trim sounds awesome!

My brother built a pretty nice shop out at his place, but he lives like 45-hour depending on traffic conditions. but I have a detached garage at my apt that I pay an extra 40$ a month for... not too bad, I still keep all my tools in teh apartment though :p
