Back to work on the bed again. I would highly recommend Mar-k bed crossmembers over LMC crossmembers! Really good looking pieces with brackets already welded on and holes drilled. Mar-k is the grey piece and black is the LMC member.

I'm curious. What is the theory behind cross pipes? I know newer vehicles have went to them also. Does help with getting rid of exhaust, is it asthetics?

The theory is that it is more effective at scavenging exhaust and helps with the drone sound. I don't think I have ever heard an X-pipe exhaust system. I am very curious how it will sound. I have a feeling my decision to use the rear sway bar is going to make the side exhaust exit forward of the rear tires interesting. The sway bar links are right where the pipe needs to start its bend.
