I'm not sure of the question, but a total of two inches are taken out of the center.

My thought as well. I never can get a true 90° cut. I try to clean things up as much as possible after but never seem to be able to keep things truely square.

After cutting the axle tube and squaring it up I beveled the tubes and welded it with a 210MVP, turned way up!!

My latest Instagram post!! I didn't take any pictures of assembly but you get the idea. I bought Porterbuilt control arms for this truck (went ahead and bought a set for her truck too!!) they are 1" forward and 1" shorter (nice parts by the way!!) and his pan hard rod kit. Also got a disc brake kit with 2 1/2 dropped spindles. Was able to get most of the parts on but haven't finished yet. As soon as I get the rotors on I can figure out what back space wheels I want to order!! Than I can really get after it!! Stay tuned!!

Will do!!

I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to put the rotors on and get a wheel measurment!! My buddy John and I are doing drag week this year and its only a month away and the car is a little (a lot) apart!! So I spend almost all of my extra time with him working on the car!! We've only been talking about doing this the last ten years!!!

Thanks so much guys!!

Nice! I'm building a 90 gmc RCSB with a forged 370 with afr 225s and a T6 borg warner right now. I'm aiming at 9.99 or quicker with it.
