Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
They appear to be out of some sort of European vehicle. Volvo I think.
Yeah Unfortunately the rear porch isn't there. The rear slider is and totally intact functioning accordingly. |

I've sold the grill, but I do have another one. I do still ahve the radiator support. I'll have it out of the truck hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
It'll be a bit before I'm that far along. I'm disassembling this thing by myself & just about everything is a PITA to remove.

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
Spent the day taking the interior apart to get the rest of the pieces that I've sold out and boxed up to ship out Monday.
Whoever rebuilt this thing must have been a Mechanical Engineer, because everything that has been upgraded is OVERKILL. This thing has huge trans & oil coolers mounted in a custom encloser, each with an electric fan controlled by a switch & an electronic temp controlled sensor. This vehicle has 6...that's right SIX electric fans, between the mentioned 2, there are 2 for a/c condensor and 2 for the Ron Davis radiator, plus a clutch style engine driven fan. This thing reminds me of that camper from Stripes...it may have bullet proofing and machine guns that I haven't found yet. Pulled all of the carpet, seats, and insulation out of the cab, and I'm stunned at how rust free this cab is. It has one very small rusty area on the passenger side bellow the kick panel. The rockers, cab corners, floor boards are all extremely rust free, as is the core support...even the area on the passenger side below the battery area. Don't forget the Mirrors... I'm not going to use those, so anybody with a 3/4 or 1 ton that wants some serious trailer mirrors...$75 shipped |

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
Sorry man, but the seats that were in the truck were not original. I've come to the conclusion that they were Volvo seats with brackets to adapt them to the truck...not great brackets either.

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
Hello,
Read through a bit and was wondering if you still have the under dash AC unit with wiring? If so does it work and how much are you asking for it? Thanks |

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
Did the truck originally have bucket seats? If so would you sell the brace under the cab that the front of the seats bolted to?
Thanks |

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper
Best set of original doors I've EVER had. I'm planning on using them on my 1970 gmc that I'm going to swap to all 67 sheet metal. If something happens and I don't use them, I'll post them in a seperate add. They won't go cheap though. Even the vent window rubber is still perfect.
