Re: parting out a 68 C20
No problem. Let me know if its the right style and if you are willing to pull it and ship it to Florida 32097. If it is the right one, let me know how much you'd want. I know it is heavy but not sure what it weighs. It would have to be a 4.10 gear. That is all I could use, but it should be. Have to pull the cover and look for the markings if the price is OK.
Note: I am in no hurry for this!!!!! I saw that you mentioned taking the bed off. I can wait until after that, so it's easier for you to get to. Maybe just snap a picture of the rear cover and the driveshaft end of it and let's see if it is the right one first. Thanks, Larry |

Re: parting out a 68 C20
How much would you want for the whole setup? I don't really need another one but it might be easier that way.

Re: parting out a 68 C20
Here's a couple pics of the outside door handles-the drivers side appears to be aftermarket, the passenger side is OEM GM. Both are in good shape-oddly, the aftermarket one has a fewbpit spots on the underside-I'd consider these very good driver quality. I'll PM ya on ifbyou are still interested in a package deal for these, the center vent and whichever harness you're interested in.

Re: parting out a 68 C20
I took it off plus the hoses too just so you know how they route. I pulled the manifold vacuum fitting also so if you need that let me know-its a 2-port fitting. How's $25 shipped for the vacuum canister and fitting? Here's a pic of the canister and related hoses:

Re: parting out a 68 C20
Shipping could be pricey....I'd say $150 plus the ride? I'd include the outer housing, evaporator, heater core & hardware and the inner AC/heater box too. I'd add whatever else is included with it like the heater control valve, blend door vacuum actuator, etc. I'll also give you a really nice climate control unit from it also-its in really nice shape-great chrome trim! Lemme know!

Re: parting out a 68 C20
Gauge cluster, climate control unit and headlight switch w/knob all sold on EBay. Not much left of the truck-thanks to all those who helped me "spread the parts around" lol.

I'm looking for some bed mounting brackets. Do you still have the frame from this truck?
Thanks

Sorry no....a friend of mine took the whole bed...that was the main reason for parting the truck.
