Hard to say. Long beds are not hot right now. Seems like every other day there is another post where someone is chopping a perfectly good long bed to make swb. Often times just for a quick money flip.

I know, I have already been thinking of cutting mine down. I'm also leaning towards finding a SWB frame and bed and swap my cab onto it. Decisions, Decisions

My baby

A true survivor, got her at 79k original miles for $2k! Got an edelbrock intake (fixed the leaks in the third picture) HEI, headers and all that. Bedlined as well! I plan to repair the little rust she does have and repaint original colors.

Hey GRX,Wow, I've seen the plates done but I haven't seen it with the lugs. If I do shorten my truck it will be done right and with safety (and horsepower) in mind. Thanks for the pic.

It is from another board in these forums. Have seen some really shoddy frame jobs in my time. Saved this link because I liked the workmanship.
