Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
I was going to say the same thing...... wonder what happened to it. I still don't believe it was a $40K truck even with the uber low miles. You'd never enjoy it!

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
As you probably already know, this site is more of "street mod project" site, and the owner has no plans for any mods, he has a rare collector piece, a Rembrandt, in other words. We were fortunate enough for him to offer us a glimpse of this truck. We really have no way of knowing how many of these types of trucks exist out there, till they are given exposure, any type of exposure, this site, another site, on the auction block, in Hemmings or on Ebay.

Uh I dont think that is a V6 engine.... the valve covers and the exhaust manifold look very much like a 409 CI BBC....

It's a GMC V6; spark plugs are on top by the intake manifold.

Yes, requests have been made for all of the pictures you can take...... Like all of the different decals on the engine and interior. On the Chevys there is a sticker/decal on the inside of the glove box door called the "SPID", not all GMC's had one. There should be a "Jacking Instructions" decal behind the passengers side seat. Any pictures you have time to take would be appreciated I'm sure. Thanks, LockDoc

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
Beautiful truck! I love 6 cylinders , would of been cool if it was a 292 inline!
The only thing that would of topped it off is if it were a 72 , I have 50k original on mine and it looks like new however that truck you have there is fantastic. I would keep it there a couple more decades then check the value on it =p |
