Re: Project "Haulin' "

Here we are Tuesday evening... We got the tailgate polished, reassembled and installed... The tail lights are in and the trim is half assed on there... I spent about 2 hours screwing with that dayam junk aftermarket trim and never did get it to fit so screw it I went back to the original GM stuff but need some better clips than the aftermarket clips for it to really look right...

My neighbor came over with his sons and helped me set the bed back on so that is done and bolted on...

This weekend we will cut and polish the bedsides and install the trim... We Also need to go over to Chris Carlson's Hot Rod's with the truck to get the Engine for Raymond so next week we can deliver it to Patterson Racing in Augusta, Ks. to get them started on the rebuild...

Thanks Matt... We did hit a bit of a wall while doing this truck (mostly a motivation wall LOL)... But we are winding down on it now... Hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be all together but I have to say my motivation is real low... Work this week has just kicked my butt...

Hey Thanks Buddy... My Wife actually picked the color and I agree with the white pearl roof and the Lime Squeeze bottom it really looks good... It is probably taking it's first road trip this afternoon...

Re: Project "Haulin' "

Ok... Yesterday we took Haulin' for about a 100 mile round trip... We went to pick up Raymond's Engine in Mulvane and took it to Patterson Racing in Augusta, Ks so they could start the rebuild... When we got there about 2:30 we found they were closed... Well DUH!!!... LOL... Had I have used my Brain it is Labor Day weekend and it is Patterson RACING so where were they?????... Probably at the Drag Strip... LOL... So anyway here it sits in my Garage and Driveway for the next few days before I can get it delivered to Patterson...
