Re: Project two tone.
I wish! I only had Sunday and Monday off...and the same yesterday and today. Ah well...gonna get the fire wall grommets and pad before I do the wiring. But working on getting the column mounted to see what mods I need to do.

Re: Project two tone.
Ordered up a brake master cylinder and some other parts. Life has been busy and winter has kept me staying careful with how much money I spend as my job can turn seasonal. Will be starting a new job soon with better pay and even More hours so....MORE TRUCK PARTS!
Small update for now...should have more tomorrow. Clear coated the master cyl to keep it from turning into a pile of rust within a few months.

Re: Project two tone.
Hey, I actually have a 12 drawer top/3 drawer bottom set of Craftsman boxes from that exact same series/era as your top box. Came from an old Delta mechanic and has a F.O.D. warning sticker on the side of it. I just wish the top box had rollers on the drawers.
Hope you get some more work done on the truck soon. I just signed a contract on a house with a large shop (think it used to be a service station...supposedly built in '45)...looking forward to being able to get set up and start working on my stuff again soon! Still haven't fixed any of the crash damage on my driver, lol. |

Re: Project two tone.
Time is a flying...especially working 10 hour days 5 days a week. lol But the weather is getting nicer and I'm itching to get back at it. Had some time and a bit of energy left this evening to tackle drilling holes and mounting one of the sail panels. What a job and very tedious as to not scratch and chip paint. Came out nicely though. Hoping to install the other one tomorrow.

Re: Project two tone.
Mid-shift kit came in for the tremec so hopefully this weekend I'll start digging into getting that installed which means I can finally install the trans tunnels. Also working on getting the gauge cluster mounted to the bezel. Got the other sail panel installed this evening, but didn't get a picture yet. More updates soon.

Re: Project two tone.
Well recent events have kept me from the shop lately. Anyhow, spend this evening removing the trans and installing the mid-shift kit. More work had to be done than originally intended so I pulled the trans to make it easier. Only took about 15 minutes to. Love old trucks. Anyhow...as she sits and it'll be back on in the morning. Now I can paint and install the tunnels and drive shaft.

Re: Project two tone.
Thanks Palf!
Had a rather motivated day and got the trans installed along with getting both inner fenders painted up. Just need to cut and buff and they'll be ready. Next the rad support and drive shaft.
