had a great night last night, finally got to mock up the motor ! It looks sweet cradled in that Scott's Hot Rods IFS !!

i got a job again and having fun at it too

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

finished the Scotts Hotrods trans mount last night with our Energy Suspension bushings , test fitted the Hooker manifolds, and set her almost on the ground ! I have to find a F-body oil pan ! LOL

I agree. Just lay pan until you've ground 3.5" off the pan, then plate it back.

BTW - Hooker headers look great all snug to the block!

Hey Mike, go to gmpartsdirect.com and put in Part #19212593. They sell it complete with gasket, tube and indicator, pickup tube, & crankshaft oil deflector for $129.89. Maybe check with Summit for this set-up and see if they will sponsor you...Jim

Whahhh?!?! I thought the F-Body pans were like $300+... Is this the same pan?

Ahh, nevermind. That's the Muscle Car pan, still about 2 inches taller than the F-Body pan I believe. Still shorter than the truck pan...

this pan is only 2 inches shorter then the stock truck pan, I need one about 4 inches shorter

Mike, sorry I thought that would work. I've read alot in the engine section on LSswap. I'll check and see if they have a shorter pan, I know guys have talked about it alot...Jim
