Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
Congrats on graduation and full ownership on the truck! Are you 18 yet? I may be able to put in word if you need a job. Hard work, pay sucks (well, for new hires...) but its a job anyone should be proud to have.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
Still making progress.... It's just going as slow as a granny gear... We'll see if I can fully finish a Bracket tomorrow. I found and have been given a 3:73 gov-lock posi traction came out of a 30 spline 12 bolt.... One of the governor parts has a stripped gear... I'm gonn try to either rebuild the posi or see if I can't convert it to the style with 4 springs like the 67-72 came with. Might as well ask.. The posi unit I have, is it a really crappy design? Should I rebuild it or sell it?

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
I've done alot to the 67, I've bought a pro6ten AC compressor, new dash hoses, new s plenum duct for under the dash, new master cylinder, new brake booster, put new dash ball vents from a 65 wild cat that are metal, put 4 inch drop coils in the rear, 2 new fuel filters, LED taillights for the rear and new wing window glass (factory green tint) and I put a 84 camaro rear sway bar.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
Got a perfect 67 hood from the local pick n pull and a perfect 67 passenger fender (besides a dented lower fender cup, better then rust!) and I also put the 67-68 style exhaust manifold back on the drivers side so looks like we are good as new except the factory brackets seem to be pulling the alt. to far back... Ill figure out what the deal is. And I put a new bulb in the lisence plate light so now it's working again. I received my pro6ten in the mail but when I went to go install it I ran into a problem... The square flange in the front is to thick, maybe 5/16ths thick the original I about 1/4 or 3/16ths.. So it's doesn't line up with the pullies for the AC no matter how I bolt it in. So I'm trying to figure out what to do. First I need to take measure menus and figure out how much it's off and figure out what need to be modified or fabricated. And after that I should be back on track with getting the AC working again.
