Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Thank you. I am very diligent about caring for my stuff and fuss over not being abusive to anything. But it doesn't get parked in the shop with the good trucks. It sits outside under the carport and sits outside for long stretches at my work. And faces whatever day-to-day driving throws at it.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
My son was looking for a older good shape truck to have as a second vehicle . Found this on Craigslist. '89 has some Miles's but new paint, bumpers, grill, led lights, all new rubber, complete new AC system, rotors, calipers, drums and pads, and interior has been redone. I tried to find something wrong, but couldn't. Guy spent much more restoring it than he paid for it.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Got new accessories, waiting to order some spot lights for the brush guard and I'm thinking about a 52in curved light bar across the roof... But, never been a huge fan of light bars... I'm just completing the stereotype at this point. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Our 93, my father in law bought it brand new in Rawlins, Wyoming.
It just turned over 100k. It needs paint, but it's a nice clean truck. It has a 350 and NV4500. I'm gathering parts for a Vortec head and roller cam swap when I get time. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I put on a 60th B-day party for my wife last week and borrowed a rather large cooer to carry ice. With the almost 100 lb. cooler plus 300 lbs. of ice + beer, wine, water, and other drinks the truck had a pretty good load.
The party was held at the local Maritime Museum I volunteer at right on the harbor. 60 people live band and a good time by all. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Been gone for a while, but found a set of 275/65r18's for my pro comps and mounted them in the spring. I do like the way the truck turned out, but I'm still thinking about lowering it next year. Maybe even an LS swap. Sorry for the Ford, it's the only resent pic I have of the 91. I actually haven't seen it at all this summer, between my parents using it during their renovation and my brother using it while I repair his car, after a wheel fell of on the highway. I'm hoping to get it back in the next few weeks to put the winters back on.
