Van pedal guts made no difference. It was just like the '08 van pedal I already have.
I had to repin the pedal so that it had two 0-5V sensors instead of one 0-5 and one 5-0 in order to get it to work. Drove around the block, and it dropped carrier again. Just now ordered a TAC module from Rock Auto. Their GM TAC for the van is ONLY for the van, whereas the part number the local GM dealership told me was the same for everything BUT vans. Frustrating that the "Pros" who have all the info at their fingertips and should know better can still steer me wrong. I'll let you know when it gets here.

The van PCM that I have has the ability to run either cable or DBW. If I go cable, I need to go back in and make changes. It would also make cruise control more difficult.
I am sure I can make it work, it's just figuring what's wrong. I have two TAC modules #12590008, and GM quoted me the same part at $450, non-returnable. The VAN uses #12590009. $135 from Rock Auto, GM part. Might be here Thursday.

The P59 in the Express van has the chips to do either.
In fact, most of the wiring in the '07 van looks "pre-05."

The 2007 Express Van TAC module arrived. I had to re-pin the van like a truck to make it work, but it did not drop carrier. Well, there was an issue with some aggressive throttle, where it popped a P0068 code which turned out to be the computer was seeing a lot more air than it was expecting, and went "nope!" I added 15% to the Calculated Airmass and that went away.
Took it for a decent drive around town. I didn't see much boost, but did get some blow-off-valve flutter which is cool. The datalog shows the computer is pulling a lot of timing at higher throttle. I suspect this is part of the Torque Management and Traction Control. Since there is no Traction Control, I zero'd the TCS Method table. and we'll have a go tomorrow. Lots of leaks I need to fix.

Added one-way check valves to the PCV system so boost doesn't puke past all the seals.
And having still more quality control issues with the LS A/C Adapter I bought off Amazon.

Took the truck to deal with some items in dad's condo. Dump run, mostly. LOTS of thumbs up; the truck really stands out.
Cool having 4psi boost at half throttle. And giggles with the "choo-choo-choo-choo" of the blow off valve. I owe y'all some video....

Damn Skinny, i am so sorry for your loss. I just read about it. This hits me extra hard in that I am in the same sorta situation. My dad raised me on hot rodding, how to build them and repair them. He is currently in Mobile Alabama, i am in Washington State (a bit of difference) and as you may have read i have a 1940 Chevy Coupe i actually got from Alabama, shipped it here and wanted to build a tribute to him with it. He is very sick with a lung issue that will eventually take him home to Heaven and he cannot travel. He is always asking about the car. He will never take a real ride in it, and i know this, BUT my hope is to get it running good and then Facetime him, take him for a ride that way in it. Anyways, i am sorry for rambling.... Love your ride. Prayers for you and your family...

This just in:
I think I have successfully scaled the tune for a better spark table at 14psi boost. I'm not at 14psi of boost yet. Yet. Also, The AAW headlight switch cannot feed four Hella H4's. That took some finding. Also, Somehow I or AAW themselves (probably me) wired the "Front Light Plug" wrong. I had to re-pin the front light wiring in order to get high and low beams to work correctly. Also, The cheap fuse/relay block I had bought had decided to disconnect with the fuel pump relay. In the dark. With headlight problems. Luckily I could walk home and jumper the relay and get it home to fix it.

Back years ago I worked at a restoration shop where we had done a complete resoration on a 1956 Chevy BelAir. The idiot light for the generator glowed dimly all the time. The generator was charging like it should. After checking and rechecking everything I found two wires at the fuse block were in the wrong location, after switching those wires around everything was fine. I just knew it could not be a problem with new wiring harness, but it was.
