Re: My 57 Pro Street
if you are leary of spraying metalic how about a nice sold color with pearls in the clear?
really metalic isn't much different to spray than solid, just practice some on vertical surfaces. the horizontal stuff is easy.if you can spray the primer withouty runs then you can probably spray the metalic, just beware of the overlaps so you don't get blushing. |

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Just a little up date.
Finally got the bed where I'm going to live with it. Need to sand it with some 180 then another coat of epoxy and final sanding I hope but that will be for another day. This is a case of ambition over ability. Wish I knew what I know now when I first started the bed. Kim |

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Wow Kim, that is incredibly COOL! I didn't know you were doing a custom bed. What are your plans for fenders? Stock? Widened stock? Full custom? Can't wait to see more!
Best, Dan

Stock fenders. The bed is the same width as a step side bed. The fenders will help to hide my amateur body work. Kim |

You're being too humble. It looks great. Either that or you're a pro Photoshopper!

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Thanks.
It's not perfect but I'm happy with where it's at now. Being such large flat panels the sun has an effect on them. Kim |

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Kim!
Good to see an update again!! You don't have to pull yourself down at the work you do, you do amazing work!! I'm not good at bodywork and it shows, but yours look just great in my eyes!! Love to see it with fenders on, I think it looks cool!! Hope your body keeps up with you and see regular updates again!!

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Hey Kim, nice bed for sure. great sheet metal work, very creative. I may have missed it along the way, but what color are you painting the truck? Also, what size wheels will you have on the backside? Looks great
