Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
That's a really good looking truck. I'd do some work with the grill and maybe remove a couple interior pieces and leave it as is. Honestly the roll pan, painted lights don't bother me on this truck and I'm not a fan either. It's works with the blue.
I've wondered what some billet in a blue stockish interior would like. I have blue in my truck and just bought some used billet pieces. Nice to get a preview. Thanks for the picks. Keep us updated with what you do with the truck.

JWall - I love that truck every time I look at it. You did everything just right with it. I think I'm going to polish the billet I have like yours.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
here is my First truck back from a total transmission and engine replacement. Been out of commission a year, but i love how it turned out.
Its got a new 350, TBI, TH700R4, corp 14 full float with 4.11:1 gears, and the normal front IFS. (would prefer a Dana 60). Also new tires, dick cepek crushers 285/75R16.

Sold my 67 to pay off some medical bills, hated it so much but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
My new project, 89 Sport, have completed many things to date. Have much more planed. Going to start a build thread sometime.

Hiway, do you have any more pics of your extended cab. Looks really sweet. I've been considering a two tone like yours.

Post them if you get a chance. What did you do to divide the two colors? Stripe of some kind?

A quick snapshot when I got home tonight. Here are the twins, they aren't identical or anything, but the same Momma and the same year.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
nice man.
Do you have a load leveling hitch or something on there?? I just have to think that the weight of a truck (assuming 3000-5000 lbs) would make a 1500 squat down a lil more than that.

Thanks, she might not be pretty, but she is my baby. I'm still trying to decide if I like the shortbed.

I had a tow dolly break while towing a car at 55 MPH, and a strap break on my trailer while towing a car. I also picked up 2 Bronco II 4x4 trucks in 2 days and strapped them down by the axles, one nearly got blown over by the wind (extremely nerve wrecking, seeing air under the trailer tires while traveling 45 MPH, new shorts were in order) and the other nearly rolled off the trailer on a curvy road (sway bars were later found to be damaged on the bronco in a way that made it lean very uncomfortably in turns). I don't take chances anymore. I might not be perfect, but I do my best for my and everyone else's safety. Oh worth noting, the long bed weighs 5400 lbs across the scales, the short bed weighs around 3600 lbs. Blew my mind, I would have figured around 4400 lbs at least. The weight of that short bed confuses/surprises me. I junked a old 81 F100 truck not too long ago that weighed 4575 w/o the engine. Id think that chevy would be close.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
The paint divides in the bottom of the upper crease nicely...and the next seam down (1/2") is a quarter inch wide silver stripe. Still pondering changing the stripe to something that stands out more...green, purple, dark blue
