Frizz,

I love the shot of the Minx with the 5 spokes. That looks very cool.

Frizz, You posted a pic of a Blazer hard top that was built by Steve Cook Creations. A friend of mine built that hard top and I got to see it in person as it was being built. I thought that was a lot of work but yours tops it. I have been collecting the parts to do my own Blazer hard top but am really liking the "Tahoe" look. Incredible work! Would you do it all over again?

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*

Thanks man. I was wondering if/when we'd hear from the owner/builder of that truck. Looks like they did some quality work. And it's running, which is more than I can say for mine at the moment. I would do another one if I had mine, and some of my other projects, done/further along. Those who know me know that translates to not anytime soon. I'm making progress on the Minx though; which brings me one step closer to resuming this build!

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*

I dont think any thing ever came of that Blazer. After they got all of the body work done, I think the owner picked it up to finish himself but I am not real sure of that. It was an amazing idea to build a hard top. Ive actually got a Burban and an extra Blazer frame that I was going to just cut the Burban down to Blazer size. Sounds easy enough. Too bad that nothing more ever came of that Blazer. It was featured in a magazine article about the project but no word was ever mentioned again. Keep the Tahoe alive. The car world needs to see it!!!

Drivable? Hmmm...you didn't say under its own power. I'm really good at coasting a classic, especially since my blazer likes to have "fits" every now and then and stop running. I'll coast the Tahoe around.
