Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

I was messing around a little the other day in the shop and finally got the Vintage Air Gen IV unit mounted up, . I still need to figure out where I'm going to have my lines come through the firewall. Kinda tough to do with a painted truck, can't make any mistakes here....I should have done this prior to paint, but you know how that goes...

I don't wanna hijack the Superburb's thread. After all, he needs to stay focused on getting ready for the Hot Rod Power Tour , but I read in your thread that you were looking for a dual air option. I will post what I did on your build thread.

Haven't decided yet. Will probably see how the single unit does and then go from there.....

, pressure, pressure, pressure!!! Holidays slowed me down some, but making headway on small things such as installing the cruise control stalk into my Flaming River tilt column, what a PITA!!!!

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

This project set a new standard to folow when I start to rebuild my Chevrolet Veraneio (a General Motors Brasil body design on top of a 67-72 chassi and 50-60s engine)... Even the engine swap made some basic ideas to jump out from my head...

The care with the details was awsome.

When I start my project I will post here in the Message Board.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

So I am trying to decide on Headers, among other things. I am looking either at the DT's you have, or Kooks TBSS long tubes. My questions to you are, have you tried them on yet? Are you still using column shift, if so are you using linkage or shift cable?

With the ECE mounts, the Doug Thorley 324y's work great. I have a column shift and I used the Lokar shift rod kit. I don't have any info on the Kooks TBSS headers.
