Re: Glock's new project: "Fred" w/ 5.3L LS swap info

Excellent. I'm in the middle of putting together a spreadsheet of part numbers that I used, and any others that are relevant that I come across, in hopes of coming up with a list of minimum parts needed to do a swap.

Your thread is killer BTW!!!

Re: Glock's new project: "Fred" w/ 5.3L LS swap info

Working on another one now. Don't know if it should be added to that one or on its own.

I am trying to put together a GM parts list for connectors and pins for all the harness connectors in case anyone wants to build their own harness or repair broken connectors. Its turning out to be a daunting task. All I have info for is a 2005 5.3 and I only have 80% of the connector pictures?

Re: Glock's new project: "Fred" w/ 5.3L LS swap info

Very similar but I saved yours anyway. Might be easier to just use your links in my thread also.

I didn't look but does yours have the transmission connectors, oil pressure, and the engine harness to coils connectors? Those weren't included in what I had and I had to find them. If you don't have those I can forward them to you in an email. Mine are in a less user friendly format.

Re: Glock's new project: "Fred" w/ 5.3L LS swap info

Just to give you all an idea of what I am doing for part numbers.

I might go through and note part you will need for sure, and what are optional. Instead of an overall list of what out there, I'm doing something more along the line of a minimum list of what you will want/need to do a swap into a square body, and might tweak it for a 67-72 also.

It's not complete, this is just where I am at right now.
