Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
I think someone should take one across the scales and see for sure. 3800 seems to be more in the high S/T10 range rather than a full size truck.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Heres a pic of my new truck, all I have so far is a picture of it loaded up headed to the dump. Its a 1995 Z71 141,000 miles, 350, fully loaded leather everything. Broken interior driver door handle 305/70/16s, and a 14 bolt rear, and not a spec of rust.
Truck was 6520lbs going into the dump and 5220 coming out wtih 2 4x4x10s in the bed still and my 150lbs. 3800 is really hard to believe, I dont think that extended cab weighs 1200lbs.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
My truck in race trim with the skinny and fatties come in at 3883 with me in it. Its had some mild weight reduction, nothing major. Weighs 3678 with a 1/4 tank gas on its own.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Yeah, a short bed standard cab half ton 2wd is really light compared to the 4x4 of any regard. I have seen others cross the scales, not mine, but they were surprisingly light.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
if you don't like it don't post.
It's not ghetto thank you very much, we're all redneck around here and I like it. So again if you don't, then why post and waste space? At least it don't have dub dueces or some ghetto BS like that.

Cussindusty- Ah come on I know you have heard the saying "If you can't say anything nice don't say it at all", right? That goes for around here too. Let's get back on track.

I'm not big on chrome, but I really wish I had the patience to polish up my stock aluminum wheels like that. I love the look.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
shame I didn't do the fade job though.
trust me I did the 3 center caps before and it took me months to do a wheel, then once I did a wheel it was another day before I done the rest.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
did I say yours had 22's NO, I said it as a generalization, IMO if it was ghetto it would have to have bigger then 22's being a 4x4 truck it have to have huge stupid wheels on it in chrome like 28's or sometrhing. 22's would be more for like a car or chevtte to make it ghetto since it could barely fit.
I mean come on why even bother posting and wasting time? Seems like all you want to do is hate, bash and fight with somebody and it aint gonna be me. If you must keep it up then pm me and don't waste board space and time.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
mine as well, saying too much chrome isn't bashing but saying it's ghetto aint great. it's like using s slang term to describe an ethnic group they wouldn't like it much.
I could care less if you or anyone else thinks it's too much chrome, it's my truck and I like chrome, but as you said no I don't consider that bashing, but saying it's ghetto and some BS like that is IMO. Again I was not reffering to your truck as running 22's I can read and see you have 36's. I was just voicing my opinion on what is considered ghetto to me, or what would make mine ghetto. sorry for wasting board space or time.
