Re: post up your camping pics
back at the rv, i was trying to read a book in the overhead cause the dawgs wouldn't leave me alone.....so much for that. Rumble actually pulled himself up to the overhead by himself and because he's up there, Roxie wanted up there... and because Rumble and Roxie are up there, Moe wants up there too....so much for some peace, i'm out... |

Re: post up your camping pics
dawgs being dawgs, they really enjoyed themselves
the fish rearing stream we were parked by which runs into the main river. wish i had the cam with me one morning. i would take the mutts down there every morning, one day Rumble walked across the creek to the other side...so naturally Roxie followed him. well the current was just a tad to strong for her. she got in to her belly, then the current spun her in a slow motion 360 and carried her down the creek about 10 feet before she got her footing and worked her way out... |

Re: post up your camping pics
Rumble cooling off
me and wifey rode to the top of another mountain. we rode into the clouds, and had to use our headlights for awhile, couldn't see wife's quad 20 ft in front of me at some places when the cloud lifted, turned out there was a 6-700 foot drop behind me that we didn't see. wife shot this one in B&W just to be different we didn't even know this was behind us till the cloud lifted. it was like mother nature was pulling up a curtain to revel the mountain |

Re: post up your camping pics
Completed another run to Moab for Blazer Bash. No breakage, short of a couple of split duratrac tires.
Dewey Bridge, or what's left of it. Heading up the Top of the World trail solo. At the top. Camping down from the top. Sunset. Cooking up some steaks on grandma's 100-year-old cast iron. Phenominal. Steelbender trail. At Wipeout hill on 7 mile rim (backwards Bill). I also lead a small group out on an easier set of trails. Potash rd to Schaffer switchbacks and Gemini bridges road. Here we are at Thelma and Louise point.

stellar pic of the blaze at Top of the World! did you swap out your headlights for halogen or led? don't recall seeing them lights in your truck... really liking that black(?) sub in the front row, how did a big long beast like him do on the trails? |

Re: post up your camping pics
Thanks. I swapped out the core support for a single headlight version to allow for better lighting. So those are H4 conversion housings fitted with H4 style LED Bulbs.
That Burb is probably the most capable Suburban out there. ORD 4 link/coil-over up front and custom ORD 63" springs with a stock shackle orientation (not a flipped shackle). It's a really well thought out setup and the install is second to none. He's rolling on 40" maxxis rubber too. He invited us out on steel bender where I snapped this pic. He completed Pritchett Canyon Saturday too which is one of the gnarlyest trails in the Moab area. If you watch any Youtube, you might have already seen it in construction. He's got a really cool channel over there that he documented the suspension changes. Look up Willomet Motor and Fab on Youtube.

Re: post up your camping pics
One last shot of my wheelie. The pic was snapped by one of the other Blazer Bash participants. He nailed it for sure.
