Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Ok guys I got a ton of stuff done this weekend. All the air ride is wired . No the wiring will not run down the top of the frame. It will be hidden. The hard line air ride works awsome and there is no leaks. I have to say I believe it has to do with the flaring tool I am using. All the brake lines are finished. I will not be using the braided line in the pic on the compressors. It to will be hardlined but I am waiting on a 2 check valves. Also I got the trans cooler mounted and one of the two hard lines bent. I put the bed back on to see were I should mount the wiring. Enjoy the pics.

That's a lot of wiring to hide. Will it run inside the frame tubes or what's the plan?
The cable for the starter and charger run down the other side?

This thing has more plumbing than Home Depot. Love the attention to detail.

Most of the wiring will be hidden it a tube that runs up under the bed. It will then drop down the front of the bed. I will be boxing the top tube on both sides of the frame and it wii be dimple died so i can run the wire in to the cab. It will be trick but it should work. I will be working on it tonight and tomorrow so I will post pics so you can see. You are right this truck does have more plumbing then home depot

Done with what? Building insane car/trucks? Move on to motorcycles? Move on to vehicles that mere mortals can do?

There's all kinds of loopholes in that statement. "Most likely" is a far cry from definitely.

Ok so here are the plates I started to build last night. These will allow me to run the wire on top of the plates out of view

WOW! All I can say is awesome. Your attention to detail is spot on.
2 questions for you:

Who's dimple dies are you using? I have a hydraulic electrical box knock out setup and would like to find dimple dies that will work on the hydraulic ram. It looks like you have something similar.

Where in the world are you going to run the exhaust? Hopefully I haven't missed this, I am still going through this magnificent build. Thanks!

Keep up the great work!

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

The dimple set came from trick tools on line. I bought the ram and 5 die set. It was around a 1000. Mario Novelli and I will be building custom headers and 3 inch oval exhaust that exits out the fender and down the outside of the frame. Should look cool.
